/tʃɪmp/ Noun. Portmanteau of "child" and "pimp". Derogatory word for an adult, usually a parent, who exploits a child for online views and monetary gain. Usually applied to "influencers" who lack the talent to obtain followers authentically. Examples of chimps include Abbey Lee Miller, Teri Shields, and Melissa Gisoni.

Chimp chant

The term used to describe the phenomenon where black Americans get stuck in a repetitive loop of a trivial phrase when placed in a situation that mildly stresses them. The chimp chant always precedes a sudden and otherwise unexpected act of extreme violence.
