Hermit Mode

A period in a University student's life, where they attempt to lock themselves away from society in order to complete assignments (usually left until the last minute).

This time is usually full of many cans of red bull, panic attacks, contemplation of University withdrawal, and chocolate.

Friend 1: oh hey gurlfrieeeendd let's go out and catch up this weekend!!

Friend 2: Ahh no.. I can't... I'm in hermit mode to try and get this essay done.

rampage mode

when on a long hike, and the summit (or awesome view) is near and within reach, one will go into "rampage mode"... a mode of rampage where one will use up all of his/her energy in a last ditch effort to reach the summit as soon as possible and at a mad pace.

oh my, he has gone into rampage mode again... i hope he will have energy to make it off the mountain before dark.

Britney Mode

A female who has become desperate for companionship and acceptance, particularly from men. Failed relationships, the feeling of utter despair and isolation may cause an indiviual to go "Britney mode" and randomly putting out, displaying promiscuity at its finest.

bounce mode

the positioning of your car while parking so you can pull forward out of the spot. In a parking lot this requires pulling through a spot, or backing in. For parallel parking this means to take the forwardmost spot in a line of spots. Referred to as bounce mode because it awards the driver the fastest possible escape, or ability to "bounce". Always handy in a qustionable situation.

"man, if this shit goes bad, we'll need to get out quick, so make sure that shit is parked in bounce mode."
