"Dude you just tapped that keg like a pro, somebody get that guy a beer"..."That guy is a party hero"

A term used in the MMORPG World of Warcraft, to describe a player who isn't necessarily very good in PVE, but rather spends all of his time PVE:ing, usually Raids, 10 or 25-man.
This type of player usually has a very sharp and clear hate against PVP and PVP Heroes, mainly because he's absolutely worthless in PVP. The typical argument is that "pvp heroes can't pve".
A simple summary is a player who deliberately blocks out 50% of the game because he's incapable of the other half.
There are shit loads of PVP Heroes and PVE Heroes. Neither is quite impressive. If you are a person who is very good at both and enjoys the game as a whole, you are most likely quite exceptional and a rare case. (The definition of good from either side variates. From a PVP perspective, you need Glad title. From a PVE perspective, you probably need to be top 10 guild on the realm and have near flawless PVE gear.
See PVP Hero for the exact opposite.

A very good example is a PVE hero which only goes PVE and has 0 PVP gear and no arena teams with decent rating and/or no rated bg rating and/or no lifetime kills at all.
Another example is a player doing arenas in PVE gear and is usually carried by it. Such as Legendaries.

The first responder was always the first one there, and though nobody questioned his/her hero complex, there weren't too many other people that wanted the world to burn.

White people call these people "cops" but black people normally see them as the person who killed or jailed their dad.
Now that is epic

N. The hero shift is a shift worked at a retail store from before open to after closing time. This usually leads to a day long nap the next day.
Employee 1: Did you hear Rick is pulling a hero shift today?
Employee 2: he is either desperate for money, or hates himself and his sleep schedule.

Someone devoid of actual training or expertise on a given subject, but watches Youtube all day so that they may interject fake expertise. Often they will watch what you are working on, run inside to watch a Youtube video, and then come out and try to act like they know about the subject. This often leads to improper use of words of phrases they know nothing about to look "cool" and knowledgeable.
These types are easily distinguished from the true "professionals" because they lack full understanding of the subject, practice improper use of the subject matter, and often run back and forth to the computer, and sometimes even bring it with them to "watch" and work.
Be sure to protect yourself from Youtube Hero's because they will likely mess up whatever they are working on and you will be caught holding the bill. They can be found in many areas but tend to favor Electronics, Computers, Car Audio, and Automotive Repair.

Nick was busy trying to get his stereo wired up yesterday when his room-mate came out trying to be a Youtube Hero. He heard us debating over which way would sound best and came out there and began talking out of his ass. We called him out and made him feel like a real dumb-ass. It's a good thing Nick didn't listen to him, because his amp would be toast right now.
