When someone slides their screen on Snapchat just enough to read a person's message. This allows the message to stay on "delivered" instead of "opened". This is usually done when ignoring a person but you low key care what they had to say.

Friend: Are you texting your man again?
You: Yea but he keeps leaving me on delivered.
Friend: Damn he probably sled read your ass.

Sandwich-reading

Educated guesswork using online summary sources are also a viable method of completing sandwich-reading.

I didn't read that book. I was only sandwich-reading it to make sure key points got introduced. I couldn't read the whole thing since I was too busy.
