A Fate Worse Than Death

Basically to assume that living a really long life is horrible and dangerous. Let's say that you were currently alive and something extremely unpleasant has happened to you that would possibly result in mental scars. Something so bad that it will stick with you for the rest of your life and you just can't wait for death.

Death is an absolutely natural part of life. You're gonna die at some point so you might as well accept it while you still can. Sometimes it would be much better for most people who really have it worse than others.

Life truly can be a fate worse than death. I know some people who have it so worse that they are just wanting to be put out of their misery because their pain (whether it be physically, mentally or emotionally) lasts the longer they live.

From British daytime TV host Jeremy Kyle who constantly berates his guests for their bad behaviour then goes home to smoke crack and beat his wife. In the meantime, Graham, the show's counsellor, takes the guests backstage and takes advantage of them.
