Stands for "What It Is That We Do"; used by members of the BDSM scene to refer to their activities and/or to the scene itself.

It's often difficult for vanilla folks to understand why we do WIITWD.

wikitrap

When one looks something up on wikipedia, and finds oneself clicking through links to related articles until several hours have passed, tasks for the day not achieved, trains missed, etc. It is implied that one is not longer able to leave wikipedia.

Tends to end up, no matter where one started, with articles about the British Royal Family.

Noun: "I got stuck in a wikitrap today for four hours"

Verb (passive): "I would have come out but I went to look up something for my hoemwork and was wikitrapped all evening"
