A Northern English way of saying 'How are you?'; used informally to greet someone with whom the speaker is on familiar terms. A comprehensive answer referring to the belly in question is not required or expected.

spots for restin'

A resting location found at climbing gyms, CO-OP's, and Disc Golf Courses where individuals congregate to talk about why their four year degree in Modern European Philosophy from an accredited university hasn't contributed to them finding a job outside of the Fast Food Industry. Spots for Restin' can often be identified by the excessive amounts of Hippie Drippings.

The climbing gym across town has a pretty good bouldering wall but it really needs more spots for restin'.

I just want to watch the news, but then I'm looking at an ad. I try to click the x, but it turns out its a link for the top ten worst celebrity plastic surgeries ever. So as I'm looking through it I get another ad leading to a slideshow on money making hacks even though it isn't even a hack, leading me to another ad, but I just want to know about the presidential campaign, but when I try to go back it turns out its a link to some sponsored content about Geico. And then the cycle repeats.
