Originally stated on the @barstoolbroncos Instagram account in 2020, Sorry, Vegas is a term used when you are sports betting and win so much that you actually feel bad for taking Vegas’s money and feel the need to apologize.

It can also be used when you prevail in a situation when the odds are stacked against you.

The phrase “Sorry, Vegas.” sounds best when yelled or said with confidence

*You have $50 on the Boise State vs BYU basketball game. Boise state is a four point underdog and wins*. “SORRY, VEGAS!”

*You pass a midterm that you did not study for and should have failed* “SORRY, VEGAS!”

Big game today. Sorry, Wyoming and more importantly... Sorry, Vegas.
