wertle snertle

A phrase used by a 'shade tree' auto mechanic to describe the thingamajig (usually black) attached to the motor with wires running to each spark plug. Also, sometimes referred to as a whatchumacallit.

Get my flat blade screwdriver and pop the top off the wertle snertle.
