(poo-checks) pl. noun. the hairy areas on the back of the neck that tend to grow faster than the rest of the head. more typically seen in shorter hairdos on males. derived from the high school teacher of the same name who inspired mocking teens to trim these rapidly growing hair patches more frequently.
