Ginga

Basically means absolute bliss or happiness. It means "not to take life too seriously and to confront hardship with the right combination of toes, heels and hips." The Portuguese word conjures up an almost dance-like way of running. It's the happiness found in Brazilian football players and the Brazilians from the lower classes who are often more generous, happier and more willing to try new things. That's ginga.

"How does Ronaldinho play so well?"
"It's the ginga."

Last Christmas I engaged in a very satisfying gingey-binge while watching Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

A term used by stupid, racist, unemployed Brits with a lot of time on their hands -- especially when they can't find any niggas or pakis to harass. Usually applied to fair-complexioned white persons with red hair and freckles.

Ginga

Ginga ("Silver Fang" in Japanese) is an awesome anime/manga series about dogs by Yoshihiro Takahashi, mainly popular in Finland for some reason (known there as "Hopeanuoli"). It'll make you jealous that your puppy isn't badass enough to decapitate a giant man-eating bear by spinning in the air or impale a mutant monster by using the wind.

I wish my dog was badass like Riki from Ginga Nagareboshi Gin!

Gin, Weed, and Sirius are my favorite characters from Ginga.
