Branch Covidian

A derogatory name for individuals whom have shown signs of unhealthy obsession and overwhelming fear regarding the Sars-CoVID-19 pandemic. Individuals will often treat people who are infected as being terminally ill or as if diseased by a Black Plague-tier illness, will belittle and shutdown those who might have counterarguments, often labelling them with their own derogatory titles such as 'grandma-killer' or terms like it. Predominantly consists of authoritarian-leaning individuals with a significant amount of left-of-center individuals, though it is not exclusive to individuals of that ideology. Will parrot talking points even if they do not entirely understand them simply due to being said by a force of authority. Might use religious tone when speaking of the vaccination programs or medical officials such as Dr. Anthony Fauci. May also use alarmist rhetoric and act paranoid of others and social situations, again, parroted from media rhetoric. Similarities may be drawn to the pseudoscientific hysteria of the late 1800s or Satanic Panic of the 1980s.
