(German term)
A term used for the layer of dark crust that grows at the bottom of a pan, when forgotten to stir frequently.
When scrubbed off the bottom with the assistance of a sharp object, you then will be able to use the crust as a mouth-watering flavoring for your dish.

"Jetzt kann ich die Bodenwürze schmecken."
Translates to: "Now I can taste the Bodenwürze."
