Anti-war Protestor

One who arrogantly condemns "the other side" (e.g. Republicans) for being "ignorant sheep" who can't think for themselves, whereas it never enters their minds that someone can be intelligent and educated while still conceding the unfortunate necessity of war; that someone can disapprove of George W. Bush's administration but still applaud the removal of Saddam Hussein from power; that someone can side with the government and not be a brainwashed fascist; that someone can believe humans have nobler aspirations that look past their own self-interests.

1- One whose personal philosophy is that a certain war, or war in general is immoral and wrong, and openly expresses his/her contempt for war. Not all anti-war protesters are irritating, whiny Bush-bashers...some, but not all. (spelled "anti-war protester")

2- A phrase that can cause people to get into large, pointless shouting/swearing matches against one another.

The anti-war protesters gathered in front of the Capitol to express their feelings about the war.

Protestant Christianity

A form of Christianity, started in the 16th century. It slightly differs from Catholicism, most notably there is less emphasis on clergy. However, Catholics and Protestants:

-Both worship the same God.
-Both worship Jesus.
-Both read the Bible.
-Both attend church on Sundays, as opposed to other religious buildings. (i. e. Mosques)
-The majority of Protestants are not violently anti-Catholic, and the majority of Catholics are not violently anti-Protestant. They just disagree on SOME issues.
-Both do not hate Jews/Muslims/etc. There are both Protestants and Catholics that do, but the majority don't, considering the Bible verses that oppose discrimination.

Here on Urban Dictionary, the average definition of Protestant is:

"OMFG thay hat catchlics so fcuking msuh.I HATE CHRISTIANS!!1!1!1111,. ROFLZ. o and hitler is my herO!1"

To all of you retarded "rebel" preteens that wrote/write/plan to write anti-Protestant definitions, grow up and open your eyes; Protestants and Catholics are very similar. Fighting over "what true Christianity is" is immature and discriminatory.

I follow Lutheranism; a form of Protestant Christianity.

Protestant

Member of the religion that broke off from the catholic church many years ago. Basically vandalized the Bible adding and deleting writings as they please. Despise the Catholic Church and it's teachings of saints. Have been known to think they are better than anybody who isn't like them or a member of their church. beleive the catholics are going to hell along with the jews, orthodox, african americans, and homosexuals. They have criticized the Virgin Mary. They try to humiliate the Catholics as much as possible but usually end up getting hated by everyone even more. Beleive saints cannot hear prayer even though the ORIGINAL BIBLE says they can. The Protestants deleted almost anything relating to prayer to saints in the bible. Not all Protestants are bad but many of them have been accused of this stuff.
