Since plumes in Mordhau are somewhat known for being associated with try-hards, the plumes are often viewed negatively, especially since killing friendly players is viewed as taboo. Plumers are often seen wielding meta weapons such as the longsword, greatsword, zweihänder, maul, eveningstar, fast one-handed weapons, spear, poleaxe and bardiche which they can use to great effect due to their knowledge of weapon animations
