Virtual Graduation

Noun: Modified graduation ceremony for Class of 2020. Students are filmed recieving diplomas. It is a laborious process that requires innumerable hours of work. Developed as a result of global pandemic.

Verb: cause of head explosions. Upon hearing about virtual graduation as a result of students and parents take to social media to spread negativity because they no longer have the ability to contact the school personally via phone or email.

Parent/Student 1: (facebook post) virtual graduation is BS. They lied to us. Let's be a mob and all rant. ***heads explode***

An action or courtesy which one feels they are obligated to give to another but privately their heart isn't in it... A false act of kindness... A socially accepted act of ostentatious phoniness.

Jane is grossly overweight. I am a petite size and very chic. She is a friend of mine but because of her size I think myself better than her. But I do NOT treat her as less than me even though I think she is. My treatment of her as an equal is strictly 'gratuitive'.
