Divine Jewish Intervention

When an unexplainable occurrence (aka miracle) happens causing/allowing one to save money.

Examples of this phenomenon are plentiful. Finding a coupon right before you're about to buy something. Discovering a discount at the register for something you're about to buy. Noticing that you have an extra $100 in savings you forgot about. Finding an extra $5 in your purse you never knew was there. Tampax being put on sale during the week you just so happened to start your period. The list goes on and on.....

"Honey, remember that resturant we're going to on Friday? I just got a coupon for it in the mail! It's Divine Jewish Intervention!"

"I went to the store expecting to pay $100 for those shoes but Divine Jewish Intervention caused them to only ring up for $80!"

Divine

Divine is a lovely boy with a caring heart. Divine is so straightforward and doesn’t like to beat around the bush, he just tells you how it is. Divine’s are shy when you first meet them but they are so friendly, when you get to know him he will never fail to make you laugh. Divine is effortlessly smart but doesn’t realise so. He has an amazing personality and is very rarely insulted but Divine’s have such a laid back attitude towards certain things which could cause a downfall.

Person 1: How would you describe him?
Person 2: Ugh he’s such a Divine !

When your totally making a badass speech and at the end you add on "TONIGHT, WE DINE IN HELL"

Can be used when you know your going to die, or when your going over to your meeting you girlfriend's parents for dinner.

Leonidas of Sparta in the movie,300 used this line and I almost cried with pride and admiration.
What a total badass.

Deine Mutter

"Deine Mutter"-jokes are often used among German teenagers. You can use them to insult someone (or his/her mother).

Otherwise you can use "Deine Mutter!" -> "deine mudda!" (pronounce it die-ne mu-dah) as a slang for "shove it" or when you want to deny sth.

And you can compare it with "your mum".

As an insult:

- "Deine Mutter steht vor KiK und schreit "Nur ich bin billiger!"."
(Your mother stands in front of KiK (that's a cheap boutique, where nobody wants to buy his/her clothes) and shouts "Only I am cheaper!" (cheaper in the meaning of slutty))

And as "shove it":

- "Bring doch den Müll runter"
(Carry off the trash)
- "Ey, deine Mudda!"
(Your mum!)
