Just like "employees must watch hands," this is a group of words that nobody reads. It's just a friendly reminder that the guy who typed what's copywritten will shake his fist at you if he finds out you take credit for his work.

Jim: You can't take that, it's got a copyright!
Doug: Just watch me. (copies and pastes jim's work!)
Jim: Noooo! *shakes fist at Doug!*
Doug: My name is Doug!
Jim: *KABOOM*
Doug: that showed him.

Slang term used for a copyright that no-one keeps. Often the copyright holder cannot stop the abuse or they may just choose not to.

The Amen Break is an example of copywrong material as the original author hasn't received a penny, dispite widespread use of it in popular culture.

The contract that the best and most prestigious publishers require researchers to sign before agreeing to publish articles is blatant copyfright.

Don't let copyfright intimidate you from freely sharing your knowledge. Choose free licensing to disseminate your work online, and bypass all the copyfright legal traps.

In academia in order to become well known and get tenure, you have to sell your soul to the copyfright monolith.

Rogue Copyright Owner

A group that claims to be either a Copyright owner or holder when in reality, are actually a criminal organization that sends copyright claims to ones work just to steal the creator's money, only to abuse several copyright laws such as DMCA.

Person 1: Yo, my music video on YouTube just got copyright striked for no reason and this company claims to have own it!

Person 2: Hmmm... must be a Rogue Copyright Owner.
