Really crappy magic tricks that dads do that somehow impress little kids. Typically involves hiding something small with an overly exaggerated flourish and then pulling said object from behind some toddlers ear or wiggling fingers at a red light that is about to change and shouting 'turnius greenius!' as the light miraculously changes to green.
The old guy was bummed when he realized his teenage daughter was no longer astounded by his best dadgic tricks.

the definition of "Trick or Trigger" is about a person killing someone by gun-shooting during Trick-or-Treating on Halloween. It doesn't always have to happen during that time (in other words, someone just getting shot on Halloween).
"i hope this is Trick-or-Treat moment doesn't go bad"
"What do you mean John?"
"There are Trick or Triggers out here. Be safe ok?"
"Ok thanks!"

My roommate was using my deodorant so I replaced it with Trick Deodorant and thirty minutes later in the office meeting he was acting a fool.

"The Smiths Trick" is used when songwriters apply positive lyrics to a sad instrumental and the other way round. This term referrs to british band The Smiths who often sing dark and depressive words to "happy" major chord structures.
Dude 1: "Dude, have you listened to the new song by How To Loot Brazil? I just read the lyrics, are they changing their style and go all happy now?"
Dude 2: "Are you kiddin' me? The song is so dark and mellow, these fellas just applied The Smiths Trick!"
