military sizes

A phrase meaning an object, (often a piece of clothing,) that is only found in sizes "way too small" and "way too big". In the military, uniforms, (especially boots,) are notably only available in these sizes.

"I'm going to a wedding tonight, but all my nice clothes are in military sizes."
"I'm thinking about getting a meal, but they only serve food in military sizes."
