Mouse Jump

A cliche used when anything unanticipated happens, typically used as a cop-out. Origin is from the cursor behavior seen on personal computers when moving the mouse causes the cursor to travel quickly and erratically across the monitor clicking on items, moving files, starting applications, or causing other unintended actions.

I tried to send you that TPS report, but my "mouse jumped" and it is gone now.

mouse cheese

Contrary to popular belief, mice really aren't all that crazy about cheese. Sure, they might eat it if there's nothing else around -- a hungry mouse can't be too picky -- but it's far from his favorite food.

If you happen to have a pet mouse, keep in mind that feeding him cheese could even be harmful as cheese is not a natural part of the mouse diet. Stick to fresh fruits and veggies along with high quality mouse pellets to maximize nutrition, with a few sweets and grains thrown in as an occasional treat.

ghetto-moseyer

n. also known as "ghemoseyer."
Someone in front of you who walks about leisurely, esp. down narrow hallways and sidewalks. They aimlessly wander about as if where they are going does not matter, therefore making the people walking behind them late for wherever it is they are going. Some even swerve around so that you cannot walk past them. Ghemoseyers can be very agitating, esp. when you are already running late.

"Gah! This stupid ghetto-moseyer won't get out of my way."
