Proposed as a question in a statement sometimes, asks whether or not you can see the label on another's bottle of beer. If the lable cannot be seen the person must drink and turn their lable outward.
Katie noticed that Tom wasn't holding his beer in the correct Manner. She did a label check so everyone could see what he was drinking. Tom then proceeded to take a drink and turn the label.

(person1) Hey isn't that Jay?
(person2) Yeah. Don't you owe him $20?
(person3) Oh yeah. I'm gonna check the spot and go home.

The action of unblocking someone and blocking them again on AIM in order to see if they're online. This is about the equivalent of knocking on someone's door to see if they're home, then your nerves collapse and you run the fuck away before they see you. Usually occurs after a terrible conversation, which ends up with one person blocking the other. Of course, this just makes the person they blocked attractive, so they make frequent spot checks to see if you're online.
paranoia bacon: i am so freaking awesome
rosesnguns17: what happened?
paranoia bacon: i just bitched out this hot-ass emo chick, and now she's block-checking me.
rosesnguns17: just make sure you videotape it :):):)

People who have paid for verification on Twitter and have a blue checkmark next to their name.
After Elon Musk acquired Twitter in October 2022, the blue checkmark lost its former status. This check was once restricted to politicians, journalists, 'official accounts', and other celebrities. After this distinction was dropped, people self-selected into buying verification who were often right wing Musk supporters.
Thus 'blue checks' is often used in context of a discussion to mean terminally online right wing accounts.
