Yes, worn and torn jeans are a very important part of American culture and ideals. So glad the hipsters were smart and kind enough to figure this out for the rest of us.

Get the Hipstermug. Hipsters are supposed to be people who don't care what others think of them, nowadays, it means you wear crop tops and high waisted shorts. Look, the shorts are like three millionths of an inch away from you wearing nothing. So, what I'm trying to say is that to be a hipster, be yourself, you don't have to wear whats 'in' or 'cool or 'cute'. Wear what you want to wear, if being yourself means jeans and an old comfy t-shirt, then there you go, you're you. Maybe being you is wearing a crop top and high waisted shorts. So what if the popular kids at school wear it, if you like the style, go ahead, but if you just wear it to fit in, don't, different is just different, you shouldn't care if they think what your wearing is 'weird', or, 'boring', it's you. I like wearing sweaters and hoodies, so at school I started a trend, and trust me, by all means, I am NOT popular, but anyways, all the people in my grade, even the 'popular' girls, who, out of school wear crop tops and what not, started wearing a hoodie over their uniform, and now they've started rolling their skirts so they're like three inches away from not having a skirt, and a tooooooon of people started rolling them, but they end up pulling it down, I don't have any of the schools skirts, I happen to wear shorts, and that's me, it might not be flattering, or cute, but it's me, and I don't care what they think about what I wear, it's me. So next time someone starts a new trend, be yourself. Maybe you'll start one too.

Get the hipstermug. So you're wanting to study the North American hipster, eh? Quite a fasinating species I'd say. Hipsters typically reside in eccentric lofts and most often have jobns involving a laptop computer. Most all hipsters wear large glassesthat some people look ridiculous wearing, tbh. The North American hipster typically starts their day with a Starbucks latte or perhaps, if their living DANGEROUSLY, a cappucino! The males typically wear beanie hats and the females can often be see with their hair in a "messy bun" (which is a Neon flashing sign of having unwashed hair) with some type of hippie flower headband... In any case the North American hipster is usually in their late teens or early 20's. The life of a hipster is one that they will regret showing their children memories of....
