John Kruk Special

The John Kruk Special is a term for a piece of sausage and one meatball with your spaghetti. This term is named for the former Phillies baseball player John Kruk, who lost a ball to testicular cancer. Therefore, John Kruk, the baseball player, is symbolized by the John Kruk Special, featuring a piece of sausage, but only one meatball.

Would you like sausage or meatballs with your spaghetti tonight?

Well, I'm feeling hungry. I'll take the John Kruk Special.

That special someone

"That special someone," most commonly refers to someone that has done something meaningful for you/another individual. The phrase could also point out to someone who by which has special skills and/or abilities for a certain manner, or even use it in an anonymous manner to a group of people for that only the person it was directed to will know who they meant. Sometimes it can be used sarcastically for someone who by which is the, "oddball," or literally the, "special one," out of a group or in any other circumstance.

"Thanks to that special someone for the guidance."

Special Snowflake syndrome

‘Special snowflake’ syndrome, is a disease in which the subject believes that because she occupies a subculture mildly different to the mainstream, she is inherently better, and above them. The subject will never state that she is better, but it is implied, as is the belief that she is rare in her qualities, despite, in reality, being an only slightly less common cliche. Subjects suffering from this syndrome have been known to make statements such as “I’m the girl who’d rather stay home reading Harry Potter than get drunk and get ‘sweet hooks’ “, and will frequently act as if she is under tremendous pressure to act like a ‘typical girl,’ not realising that ‘typical girls’ are a myth, and those she looks down upon are not what they seem.

a superficial job created in school's for teachers who can't hack it in the real classroom. Usually parents have complained about these individuals, so the administrator creates a position for the individual, where the person can't do too much damage.

Q= "What happend to Mrs. X ,that terrible teacher? "

A= "She's a literacy specialist now."
