Under normal circumstances, the person would be average, decent-looking but not extraordinarily hot. But because you have just embarrassed yourself, your brain makes them hotter to amplify your shame. The more embarrassing the blunder, the hotter the person will become.
Girl 1: I can't believe that hot guy just saw me step in dog poo!
