Slang word in Singaporean English (Singlish)
(a)used to signify some form of uncertainty or disbelief in response to some claim/statement by someone else, and feeling that you should believe them.
meh (pronounced in 1 second or less, making a shocked face)
(b) can also be used rather condescendingly to signify distrust, but you'd have to drag it out 'mmeehhhh...'
meh (drags out for about 2 seconds, making a 'yeah right...' kind of face)

MEH, the word has long been used as a simple word to denote a lack of care or interest; apathy if you like. However it has recently resurfaced to mean something new. An emotional term "MEH" is, and is now known to mean: Melt Eternal Hearts. Used by the alternative community to describe their feelings towards bands and characters they aspire or admire.

Act to sound indifferent. Not caring about the act of something important, or the repercussions. Also, in response to an answer requesting opinion, implying either non-caring about the subject or open-mindedness to the result.

Meh, to like and hate something at the same time. Its like you don't like the idea, but another person does. They ask you for your opinion, and you don't to be rude so you say "Meh".
