nub

The nub is the leftover stem on a retail ready acocado. It is predominantly used to determine the avocado's degree of ripeness. Like the peel, it is not recommended for consumtion.

The term appeared first in a WhatsApp dialogue between Niko and Rachie in late 2019.

"Is this avocador ripe yet? Dunno, check the nub."

A nub is a word used to describe somebody that is usually under the age of 18, short (usually under 5ft), with a high-pitched voice and brightly coloured dyed hair.
