Turbanaut

Derogatory slang for a Middle eastern cab driver. "Turban" referring to cloth winding headwear customarily worn by men of Middle Eastern descent, and "naut," which means "sailor" in ancient Greek and is defined as a voyager, farer or tripper in contemporary English.

We were too drunk to drive, so we hailed a taxi outside the club and asked our Turbanaut to move ever so slowly down Hollywood Blvd. as we trolled for roadside tail.

5. A pan for collecting tar.
6. A slang term for something that doesn't exist anymore: eg. "The good days are tarpan"

It's too bad that Tarpans are long extinct.
