A feminist could be anyone (ANY GENDER) who wants equal rights.
The word is a little bit misleading because it has "fem" in it, just because it was initially created to fight for women rights, because women are often the ones considered as inferior, and has less rights than men. But feminists also fight for men rights, they just want equal rights for both men and women.

This kind of feminism really is the only true kind of feminism, but has to exist as a seperate entity to combat "white feminism", TERFS, and SWERFs, who try to exclude or ignore groups of women in their idea of equality. Intersectional feminism also includes individuals of non-binary genders.
