It has a high school (West Nodaway High School) a feed/seed/farm supply store (MFA) a cafe, a bar, a couple grocery stores and a few other businesses. It may be considered a shithole (which it may be) but if you get to know the people there, you would be pleasantly surprised by hospitality you would find there. It is a typical heartland/corn belt small town. În the summer you may be able to watch the annual tractor pull. Despite the poor appearance and the skids smoking meth, this town is better than it appears.
