Halter Top Day

A term coined by Bill Simmons of ESPN in reference to the day when the weather finally becomes warm enough in a notoriously cold part of the country (i.e. the Northeast) that convertible tops can go down and girls can wear miniskirts and halter tops outdoors. Usually occurs in April.

Halter Top Day is the light at the end of winter's long, dark tunnel.

Australian music festival. A tradition, a rite of passage, a necessity to any Aussie music fan. Consistently attracts the biggest artists in the world.
Past acts have been Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Hole, Korn, Metallica, The Strokes, The Prodigy, Blink 182, At The Drive-In, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age.
This year saw Beastie Boys, Slipknot, System of a Down, Chemical Brothers, The Hives, The Streets and more visit the best country in the world.

Green Day posuer

someone who claims to be a green day fan, but only owns american idiot, and EVEN SO only listens to tracks 1, 3, 4 and 11.(american idiot, holiday, blvd. of broken dreams, and wake me up when sept. ends) also thinks that american idiot was green day's first cd. can not recognize billie without eyeliner, black hair or a tie(and do not know that he is MARRIED). if you are a real green day fan, it is EXTREAMLY difficult to prevent yourself from chewing these people out, screaming at them, or bitch slapping them. you just sit there and you eye twitches.

Bisexual Groundhog Day

The phenomenon of having to come out as bisexual to the same person/people repeatedly because they assumed or hoped that your sexuality was a "phase." Refers less to the holiday and more to the 1993 Bill Murray comedy film in which the main character experiences the same day over and over.

"My visit home turned into Bisexual Groundhog Day. My mom acted shocked when I told her I'm going to Pride next week, so I had to come out to her as bisexual AGAIN."
