straight edge has nothing to do with minor threat. they were singing about what they don't do. People are basing straight edge on a SELL OUT. Sex was NOT an original part of straight edge. It was added on in the 90's when people added the christian influence into edge. Sex is a PERSONAL decision in edge.

A gang of kids, usually posers and emo's, who think they're hardcore rebels for following the law. They also like to wear X's on their hands to show their douchey allegiance.

Guy 1: Hey Tim, wanna drink?
Guy 2: No, I'm straight edge, I follow the law and that makes me hardcore. But I do miss drinking and having promiscuous butt sex with random men.

The only thing gayer than Emo. Being straight edge is just an excuse for kids who are too pussy to try drugs or drink, or for kids who dont have any friends. What makes me laugh is these kids actually think their hard core " gangstas " with their wal-mart rags over their fat, pale nerd faces. I wish one of these kids would live by me so I could beat the shit out of him.

Edgewood College

The college attended by people who like to say they go to school in Madison, Wisconsin, but were unable to actually get into the real deal. They use phrases like "I'm partyin' in Mad-town," and "I love going to school in Madison," but inside, feel a deep sense of inadequacy.

Edgewoodian: "I love partying in Madison."
Passerby: "You go to school there? Go Bucky!!!!"
Edgewoodian: "No, I go to Edgewood College."
Passerby: "Oh. Well then." {walks away}
