Similar to a yard sale, a Party Yard Sale is a situation in which someone loses all of his or her possessions (phone, wallet, iPod, etc.) over the course of a night.

Party-Blocked - when the party you have been planning gets overshadowed by another more awesome party. As a result, your party or rager has now become a small gathering or a night alone.

Party-Block - the act of blocking parties.

Me: "Party at my house!"
Everyone: "Heard!!"
Rival Party Host: "Bigger Rager at my house!"
Everyone: "Heard, TWO TIMES!"
Me: "Shit, I got party-blocked."

To fund a given endeavour by throwing a party and charging admission. Often used to pay for large Burning Man theme camps and art projects. Similar to crowdfunding, but uses an event that provides a service instead of just begging for money.

Party leftovers

Unclaimed item/belongings that have been left at a party unintentionally by an individual (i.e. jacket, hat). Often times the host of the party will have a grace period for when the said person can come back and retrieve their item/belongings, however once this period passes the party host assumes ownership of the goods and can alternatively give it away. "The 8 day grace period"

Matthew: Check out these party leftovers; a hat, scarf, and a woman's size 3 Armani blazer.

Erin: That's my favorite size and my favorite brand of blazers - may I take this blazer?

Matthew: Haha, well it is pass the 8 day grace period so it's yours now.
