synonym for the new guard-rail radars being used by police officers, due to the belief that they can, will and are being used to also track where you and you car is at certain intervals, and where you go, in an effort to thwart certain people's alibis, for example.

"Sir, I was at home last night around 11 pm."
"Actually, one of our radar checkpoints indicate that you were, in fact, headed towards the marshes around that time, which is where we found your ex girlfriend."

Using your hand to hit someone, usually a close friend, in the throat after they've thoroughly exhausted your patience. Most often used when someone won't shut up about a particular celebrity, person or event.

Friend 1 proceeds to rant about the tickets he just scored for the upcoming concert. Friend 2 karate checks him in the neck.
