A spinning vertical cloud which can reach speeds up to 400 MPH,can devastate rural and urban areas. Other examples is the Oklahoma City 1999 tornado,Joplin 2011 tornado. They oftenly aren't noticed,and there are many types. Such as landspout,waterspout,wedge,rope,etc. Stronger tornadoes (EF3+) are rare,and are less than 10% go over EF3 rating.

A natural disaster known for its wind power. Common in Great Plains of the United States.

Can range from being an EF1, EF2, EF3, EF4 and EF5. They are rated on how much damage they create.
EF1| Can kick over trash bins, tear branches out of trees
EF2| Can create small damage on a house or car
EF3|Can uphold a roof of a strong house, pick and throw a small car
EF4|Uproot trees, rip apart furnitur and walls
EF5|Level homes, throw around a bus, and really just flattens everything in its path.

President Biden proclaimed that people don't use this word anymore. Only guessing here but, tornado is not gender neutral. The New Word is TornadX, which possibly also is a B-list superhero from X-men, like Storm's long lost sister.
