A runner in a middle-distance (1500-5000m) track race who paces the other runners and allows for ample drafting. The runner is paid normally and drops out of the race after a few laps.The rabbit generally imporoves times and is a welcome feature.

Afro-American slang for white people. Heard frequently at an Army base in the south in confrontations between black and white troops. (Early 1970s; I don't know if the term is still in common use.)

Pretty, apparently wealthy young women. They inhabit the West End of London and other fashionable spots.

They are identified by having long blonde hair, lots of face paint, sun glasses, short leather jackets and driving sports cars whilst teasing their hair or checking their lippy.
I was shunted in the Kings Road last weekend by a rabbit! Silly girl was doing her make up!
