Maine

Maine can be expensive but few states have the luxury of living so close to nature. Yeah we have rednecks but at least our noses aren't so high up in the air we can't touch the ground. I've never known anyone to marry their cousin or have kids with them up here...but I guess it would be like some people to stereotype.

Maine is probably safer than the state you live in...and definitely more beautiful.

Maintenance Texts

Sending text messages to those people you'd like to date "Someday" or "eventually" to remind them that you exist. It's a low effort way to maintain a connection without having to really commit to anything serious.

Q: "Have you heard from that guy you met in that bar last week?"

A: "Yeah, he's sent me a few maintenance texts tonight, asking where we were but not wanting to meet up. LAME!"

maintenance man

A man who is called upon for simple maintenance issues a woman may have. For example, unclogging her pipes, knocking wood, or laying pipe. The woman is typically a YUPI who is not interested in a relationship, at least not with the man in question. The maintenance man usually does his job in the late evening and leaves when the "job" is complete. Maintenance man services are free of charge.

Ex. 1: I hear Baltimore has a lot of girls just looking for a maintenance man.
Ex. 2: Yeh, I'm doing part time maintenance man work now, but I'm looking to pick up a few more clients.

2) I engage in ho-maintenance by calling ho's while drunk just to see what they are doing after not talking to them after a long time
3) I did ho-maintenance by sending text messages like "I was just thinking about you" after months of not contacting them

Little Deer Isle, Maine

The most amazing place in the world. The sun sets in oranges, yellows, and pinks. The people are so great and the memories last a life time. It's impossible to state all the amazing times, but Thursdays are square dances, mondays are pan dances, and every day's a chance to get CRUNK and have a good time. The days are hot, but the people are hotter, and the place is outta control...you're unlucky if you're not there.
