Get the lambotude mug.A derogitory term used to describe someone who "lags" (is late) to an enormous, and often offensive, extent. To be considered a proper laggot, one must lag often and deeply without discrimination- in other words on the lag graph the peaks and frequency are both high, regardless of context. It's not necessary for a laggot to be unaware of their laggy behavior, but it is common for the laggot to try defending and justifying the behavior.
Wedding Officient: Where could the groom be? I guess he's late to his own wedding... weird
Bride: Just as expected, even on his wedding day he's over 2 hours late
Another 2 hours pass
Groom: Sorry about that, I lost my passport, then spilled cheese fondu on my amiri suit, then i figured might as well stop by trader joe's for snacks since it's on the way. Honestly I would have been on time but i ran into someone at TJ's who seemed to be having a tooth emergency, and being a dentist I felt obligated to help them. To be perfectly honest I didn't even think I was late- wasn't I supposed to be here just like 5-10 minutes ago? Anyway, I didn't want to get here before the wedding officient or my bride so i selflessly gave myself some buffer time... you know, i just didn't want to make anybody else look bad. The crazy thing is, ok so basically, what happened was right outside my office there was a taco stand and for some reason they couldn't understand me, even though i speak spanish- i guess they were using a different dialect, but the thing is I didn't want to pay 7 dollars for my burrito, I thought that 4.50 would be more appropriate, so i haggled a bit and thankfully i was able to finagle the burrito for free. They weren't very patient, but I think they understood spanish better I would have probably made it here on time. So yeah my bad definitely taking full responsibility, sorry everybody!
