A phrase with many possible interpretations. Most commonly it is used to exclaim surprise and joy similar to "who'd have thought it?!" Derives from a character (Ben Harris) who grew hooves and surprised and delighted everyone with them in equal measure.

A clown-baby horse without hooves is a unique species of animal from the U.S. North West. They are generally timid due to the lack of hooves, but they are total clown babies. They are a sub-species derived from horses in Europe and clown-babies from mid 1800's new york

A messy, frustrating task that somehow escalates into a complete disaster, often involving too many hands, questionable decisions, and way too much sweat. Usually ends with everyone feeling dirtier than when they started and wondering why they even agreed to do it.
What was supposed to be a quick fix turned into trimming goat hooves—hot, sweaty, and a whole lot messier than I bargained for.

An exclamatory order that compares a woman to a ungulate mammal (that which has hooves, such as a pig or a cow) while asking her to evacuate the premises so rapidly that it sounds like she's beating her hooves upon the ground.
Situation: A fat heifer comes up to a guy and asks him to Facebook her.
His reply would be:
