A disease, normally affecting women, whereby the sufferer finds herself inexplicably and totally attracted to men with red or "ginger" hair. The disease, which has no known cure as of yet, is normally acquired after one has a severe infatuation with a particularly attractive and sexy ginger, leading the sufferer to believe ALL red-heads are equally attractive.

Girl 1: OMG i have a bad case of the gingervitus, i keep seeing ridiculously sexy redheads everywhere i go! i don't know what to do!
