Sid Bonfire

A generic term for an internet troll - i.e. someone who contributes to blogs and usenet groups only to flame other participants or generate conflict. These persons are generally very insecure and emotionally unstable and use the internet to give them validation they would never receive in real life.

I was posting at the alt.music.makers.guitar group and a Sid Bonfire called me a hack.

At the end of their sophmore year, Alec, Ian, and Jordan decided to create an Ecstasy Bonfire to celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of summer.
