A place in southern california that has expensive, large houses, great beaches, bitchy spoiled rich teenagers driving beamers, and excellent schools. A classic "sleepy town" where there is little entertainment and almost no excitement. The cops here are usually overpaid, and will ticket you for nearly anything. The people are for the most part asian and white, with some mexicans mixed in. People living in the richer part of palos verdes (palos verdes estates) are snobby, rich, and bitchy. The people of the less wealthy communities, (Rancho Palos Verdes) are generally better spirited and have better behaved teenagers. Overall, Palos verdes is a place that is rich, boring, and safe. Good place to grow up, if you are planning on going to college or staying out of trouble.

Get the miguel verde mug.Also knows as Palo or Palo Verde. A magical place in Las Vegas, Nevada where kooks and pogues go to school together and learn how to cheat. The kooks (made up of 50% mormons) live in the Paseos area, drive brand new cars of all kinds and go to Newport every weekend because anything is possible with daddy’s money. The pogues drive the nastiest shitboxes you’ve ever seen and for reasons only God knows are feening before 7am and stinking up the parking lot smoking that good ganja before class. Don’t expect either groups to know how a 4 way stop works or what a speed limit is. But expect a biannual hardlockdown/shooter scare. The stuco kids are all kooks and hold rituals so don’t go near their room unless it’s during lunch when they sell snacks. Their rival school is the entire rest of the valley. Brenden Urie also graduated from there.

That position would be reserved for the Palos Verdes City Council. In combination with the Palos Verdes City Council members, they've managed to gain a chokehold on all municipal legislation and policy-making within the city.
On average, you can find the PVE Police patrolling along Palos Verdes Drive West, near the Palos Verdes High School, because they literally never patrol anywhere else. In addition, they currently consume 70% of the city's budget, which increases every year. But god forbid we outsource our police to another city to save all that money, we need to be paying all these police officers' managers $200k+ per year salaries with pensions!
