Short for Klu Klux Klan. (Klan is purposely misspelled)

The Klu Klux Klan was an organization formed in 1865, attempting to enforce white-christian supremecy through violent acts. Best known for their brutal attacks on african-americans, white robes and conical hats, and the burning of crosses. They think that only white chistians should exist, and believe that they are helping America, when in reality they're just another clique of egotistical pricks who think that their ideals are the best and the only logical ones.

The kkk was responsible for many attacks on african americans during both the Reconstruction Era and the Civil Rights Movement.
