A Neosiege, is an evolution of a traditional siege. Made possible by advancements in technology. This modernized version of a siege can not only be placed on a localized group in a fortified position. But on a targeted, decentralized part of the population that hold a common belief or stance. Or even on a individual who hold the wrong beliefs.

A Vaccine passport system uses a technological means of enforcement. That removes a targeted groups access to essential supplies and or the ability to earn money in the local economy. Whilst simultaneously limiting if not completely eliminating the ability to leave the region.
