Gathering of Eagles

A right-wing extremist group that claims to "support the troops," but strangely enough believes that sending them to places where they'll most likely come home in body bags is the best way of doing so. In the opinion of GOE (as this group is known), shipping young men and women off to die is patriotic. Gathering of Eagles members get their rocks off by harassing peaceful demonstrators at anti-war protests. They have also been known to film and threaten peace activists and have gone so far as to assault the grieving families of service members killed in recent conflicts. Anybody who disagrees with the GOE philosophy is summarily labled a traitor and a "moonbat," whatever that is. GOE members are opposed by several noble groups that include the Winter Soldiers and Veterans for Peace, groups whose members know the horrors of war and seek to spare future generations from them.
Carolyn Swartout is an infamous member of the right-wing fringe extremist group known as a Gathering of Eagles. She has been witnessed harassing peaceful protestors and uses her family, including her minor son, in attempts to trigger violent response. She is a coward.

Mastering Physics

An online homework website created by a class of students at MIT. Mastering Physics is obviously for Physics homework. Encompassing basic Physics to upper division Physics.

Mastering Physics hates its students. They randomly want rounded answers, but then later want unrounded answers to be used in equations, and never stating that. They usually ask for 3 significant figures, but sometimes ask for 2, or dont give tell you.

They have a system that also accepts answers in terms of Variables, with subscripts and superscripts, which is quite tricky. also accepted are Greek alphabet characters.

Mastering Physics turns your fun Physics into agonizing something somethings
Chris: Oh shit, it asked for the answer to Part A rounded to 3 sig-figs, but later they wanted the answer to be un-rounded when used in the equation, so i got Part B wrong, and lost 5%

Eric: Fuck me, i got the hint wrong and it took away points, its not supposed to do that! MASON!!!!

Chris: Im going to leave them dirty comments and say i learned nothing because this question sucked so bad.

Chris,Eric: Mastering Physics sucks balls

Magic: The Gathering

The original collectable card game (CCG), where players purchase packs of randomized cards and assemble decks used to compete against others. Created by the Washington-based company Wizards of the Coast, Magic: The Gathering achieved great popularity in the early-to-mid 1990s, and paved the way for other CCGs such as Legend of the Five Rings and Pokemon. Magic: The Gathering still remains popular to this day, although not to the same level as it used to.
The player's Magic: The Gathering collection contained over a thousand cards.

Magic: The Gathering

The actual best card game ever created in the known universe. It is a strategy and math game based in various settings, called planes. To win a match of magic you must amass an army of creatures to overrun your opponent, or use other methods like spells. Also everyone who plays will never do drugs because they have no money, except for special cases.
"Bro, Did you see that Magic: The Gathering tournament last night!? It was epic!" "Totally, that burn deck that won was AMAZING!"

magic the gathering

Crack captured in paper form. Actually, the original collectible trading card game, originally released in 1993, still going strong today. Made by Richard Garfield, and published by Wizards of the Coast. Two or more players duel each other using various creatures, spells, and artifacts. The object is to bring each other players life total down to 0 in order to win. This can be accomplished in many ways. It's up to you to decide how to do it. Seeing how over 40 expansion sets have been released over the years, there are almost endless possibilities.

Often ridiculed/stereotyped by chads, along with D&D, Star Wars, and World of Warcraft as the epitome of geekdom. On the contrary, it is known to be played by anyone, and most gamers I've met don't fall into the stereotypes, and in fact, do have a life, have other interests, get laid, etc. Only people with no life like to make fun of people who play games like these. Irony at it's finest.
MTG Player 1: I tap all my lands, and fireball you for 10 damage, you lose!

MTG Player 2: Aww, shit!

Random dipshit: What are you two fags doing?

MTG Player 1: Just got done playing a game of Magic, now we're gonna go hit up a kegger.

Random dipshit: Whaa!? I didn't know you nerds did anything else with your lives but play Magic the gathering

MTG Player 1: Yeah, crazy shit, huh? It's gonna be killer! beer and bitches everywhere! And the best part is everyone going is totally chill.

Random dipshit: No way! can I come?

MTG Player 1: Sorry, chads aren't allowed at this party.
