Jeffersonville

Jeffersonville is a city in Southern Indiana, and of all cities in this region, it is most likely the one with the fewest "hicks". While it does have many cornfields, downtown Jeffersonville is actually a nice place to spend the day. There is an amazing view of the Ohio River and Louisville, Kentucky. I wouldn't quite call it a tourist destination, but if you were going somewhere and Jeffersonville was on the way, you might want to stop there if you have a bit of extra time. The majority of people there are very nice and know much history about both the region itself and most of the world. Sadly, along with many other Southern cities in Indiana, the "hick" stereotype is often addressed to Jeffersonville. However, you have to go up a bit farther to find "hicks". That said, you won't find many around here--it's just like any other small city; some people are ungodly intelligent, and others aren't. Some people have obnoxious heavy southern accents...most don't. Some people are complete imbaciles...and again, most aren't.

Jeffersonville has some nice local restaraunts, especially downtown. So if you happen to be traveling and need something amazing to eat with fair prices, you're in the right place.

If you happen to be moving to Jeffersonville, don't be discouraged just because it happens to be in Indiana. There is actually lots of nice housing, and you'll probably end up with some of the most friendly neighbors you could ask for. No, you aren't going to live on a farm wherever you go. You're going to live in a nice house, just like anywhere else on Earth.

Most people in Jeffersonville are well educated, and tons of them are relatively athletic. Most of the schools in Jeffersonville are nice and up-to-date.

The neighboring cities of Jeffersonville tend to be a bit more "country". This does not mean that they aren't nice, though, as on your way out you might want to stop in Clarksville or Louisville, especially if you're looking for a few small attractions or food.

It's not my favorite place in the world, but that doesn't mean it isn't great.

Jeffersonville is probably one of the most useful cities in Indiana, as well as not having many "hicks".

Jefferson City

Small city in the state of Missouri, or as the natives call it "Misery". Fairly violent underground for a city of its small population. Known for two things, being the capital of Missouri, and being the home Jays. There is nothing to do but party with the local rednecks, or get high, or hang out with friends. There is no night life, and nothing for a minor to do. 90% of the native population are mall rats at some point in their life, or parking lot partiers. Many people make the 40 minute trip to Columbia (CoMo) to hang out on the weekends and be mall rats at a different mall. All in all "Jeff City" sucks ass.

Guy 1: "Dude, lets go to Jefferson City"
Guy 2: "Why the fuck would do that?!?!"

thomas jefferson high school for science and technology

A high school located in Northern Virginia, known as TJ or TJHSST. Focuses on science and technology. Applicants must take an admissions test consisting of an English and math portion. This is compared on a sliding scale with their GPA, and if these scores are above the cut off they make it to the second round, which requires an essay and teacher recommendations. A large number of asians attend this school. The class of 2012 was the first class where asians were actually the majority, instead of caucasians.

Has a reputation of being bad at sports because there football and basketball teams are not very good. But actually their boys soccer, cross country, crew, swimming, and several other sports have all won either states or nationals recently.

Rated by US News & World Report as the number 1 high school in the country.

Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology is a really spirited high school since kids choose to be there.

jefferson blast

It originates from the episode of South Park called The Jeffersons. In this episodes a new person moves into South Park who is supposed to be Michael Jackson in disguise. This new person is called Michael Jefferson. Mr. Jefferson likes to sing and makes these sounds: hee hee (said in a very high voice), jikjamona, jahmone, jikjabeejerka. So a Jefferson blast is when you make any of these sounds at random periods in time.

Person 1- Inside the core of the sun hydrogen-

Person 2- HEE HEE
Person 1- god dammit Elliot. Will u quit doing Jefferson blasts!
