Kappa is one of the oldest, largest, and most respected sororities. The Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation is the largest of all Greek Foundations. Kappa has had fewer chapters close than any other panhellenic sorority. It has high standards,a strong alumnae network, and has chapters at only strong academic public and private schools. Kappa is selective and has many famous alumnae.

Kappa is one of the most exclusive and popular sororities around. Kappas are known for being classy, sweet, and smart, if not a little spoiled and proud (hence the nickname Visa Visa Daddy Mastercard). But we can also party with the rest of them and keep it down to earth. We're the good girls, as in bad girls who don't get caught. Either way, Kappas are charming and cute with a taste for adventure to match anyone's.

One of the nation's largest and most well-known sororities. They are stereotyped for being hot, rich snobs but there are also a whole lot of kappas who are awesome, fun-loving and great girls. Anyone who knows what greek life is knows about this sorority and its exclusivity. Has been referenced in movies/shows like 'Legally Blonde' and 'Sex and the City' (the sorority that Charlotte belonged to)

Omega Mu Gamma

(abbreviation: OMG)

1. A stereotypical sorority girl who frequently speaks in abbreviations such as "OMG," "LOL," "FBO," "totes," "presh," "biffel," "bestie," "abbrevs," etc.

2. Any girl (who may or may not be a member of a sorority) who considers herself "totes obsessed" with any or all of the following:
-the color pink
-shoes
-chocolate
-any major brand name
-The Notebook
-The Hills
-Twilight
-her betches! lawlz!!!11

3. The universal community of females who fit either of the aforementioned descriptions.

“Girl: What are the different sororities on campus like?
Guy: I dunno, they’re pretty much all Omega Mu Gammas.”

"Girl 1: Was Paris Hilton ever in a sorority?
Girl 2: I don't think she went to college, so I doubt it, but she's definitely an OMG."

"Guy 1: At first I thought she was a cool chick; then I realized she was an OMG.
Guy 2: How's that?
Guy 1: She was wearing a Patriots jersey, so I figured she was into football. I tried to start a conversation about sports, and then she went on and on about how she's 'totes obsessed' with Tom Brady. A group of extremely classy and established women. We are dedicated to our philanthropies, active at our schools, and great at throwing socials and crushes where we remain classy and well behaved. While some may be a little promiscuous or proud, most are down to earth good girls always willing to give a helping hand. Any one who talks badly about us is probably either jealous or someone who didnt get a bid from us and now is a sorority hating GDI.

gamma nerd

A nerd's nerd; a man who takes his nerd-hood to the next level and beyond the pale of mainstream nerd stigma and stereotype. He is often the result of his need to retain his nerd-identity even amidst and within an all-nerd environment. Because of the high degree of intensity and the elite status one must exibit, there can be no gamma nerd under the age of 18. They must be an adult. They can often be known by their lighning-fast and razor-sharp come-backs and put-downs, especially toward lesser nerds. Due to the high-level obscurity of their interests and esoteric nature of their jokes and allusions, the gamma nerd can never be an object of popular culture or even known to the mainstream like the regular nerd because the layman would be unable to make head nor tail of the gamma nerd. Unless you attend an engineering school and move within the proper circles, chances are that you will live and die without ever having seen one.

Reuben: yo man, i was creeping around the basement of the engineering building on campus at 3am and i opened this door and BAM! there's like 10 guys in there dancing to medival chamber music that they programmed on unix to run on an original nintendo cartridge and some of them were dressed like cartoon characters!
