Docsing

A portmanteau of “doxxing” and “Google Docs,” referring to the practice of using Google Docs to compile and share personal information about a target—often internet personalities, streamers, or activists—with the intent to harass, expose, or incite harm. The format allows collaborative editing, version control, and easy dissemination via links. Docsing blurs the line between “research” and harassment, as perpetrators claim they are merely “documenting” while providing a weapon for mobs.
Example: “They created a Google Doc with her address, family members, and workplace, then spread it in hate forums—pure Docsing, using collaboration tools as weapons.”
