When someone treats someone well but treats another poorly, even though it's the same exact thing.

He raped me (female speaking) OMG CALL THE POLICE HE NEEDS TO BE SENT TO JAIL
She raped me (male speaking) OMG WHAT A PUSSY, HOW COULD YOU BE RAPED BY A GIRL, WHAT A LOSER.
That is a double standard.

a person that lives by double standards, one that feels that if they do something it is okay, but if another individual were to do the same thing it would be wrong. And the ''double standard bitch" would judge them for this.

Person A' : Hey man! 'pokes person B in the arm' what ya doin?
Person B' : nuthin 'obviously annoyed'
Person A' : 'pokes person B in the arm again' come on you gota be doing something.

A comeback used as a defense by insecure morons when confronted with criticism. Usually something to the like of "Let's see you do better!" or "I'd like to see YOU try!" Everyone's heard it before.

Customer: This food is terrible!
Cook: Hey, let's see you do better! double standard defense used here
Customer: Fuck off, I can criticize even if I can't do the same!

Animator: This animation is really bad. Why would you make it in MS Paint and Movie Maker?
