conversation bumper 

A person who is in a deep conversation, and all of the sudden says a random thing, sentence, or thought, that kills the conversation.

Much like a speed bump, it slows you down, and leaves you confused, stranded, and a little freaked out.
Shelly: Hey, so how was your date last night?!
Clara: zomg you'll never guess what James did last night...
Shelly: what?!!
Clara:... hmmm... today my dog got a bath. he doesn't like water. you should have seen him squirm! hehe i like dogs! do you like dogs?

Conversation Assassination 

A comment given precisely to kill a conversation. Usually consists of "oh", "k", "ok", or "ya".
"So you know what I'm excited for?" - Male
"What's that?" - Female
"Football starts Friday!" - Male
"Oh ok." - Female
"Classic conversation assassination." - Male

Conversation Hunter 

A person that deliberately looks for conversations to kill.
Kieth: ...and so that's why I always...
*Conversation Hunter enters room.*
Hunter: Penis.
Kieth: ... WTF?

Conversation Hostage Situation 

When you really dont want to talk with someone but are to respectful to tell them to fuck off
Oh my god I was in a Conversation Hostage Situation with James For two whole hours!

Conversation killer 

A line or phrase that is either purposely used to end a conversation with someone as soon as possible, or a comment that unwittingly ends a conversation.
Tony: Ey man, whats up!
Simon: Nothing.
Tony: What you been up to today?
Simon: Not much.
Tony: Such a conversation killer...

Joe: The new CD is so good!
Mark: Yeah, tell me about, it's great!
Lisa: I totally agree with you guys.

conversation ninja 

A third party who "ninjas" their way into a conversation they were not originally a part, usually with a comment which mean they have been eavesdropping for an extended period of time, like a ninja striking in the shadows.
Jackie just pulled a conversation ninja. I didn't even notice her before she dropped that comment about her Lexus while we were talking about luxury cars.

conversation walling 

When you're trying to make a conversation with a girl/guy you met recently, either A) online B) via text message or C) in person, and she/he responds to any of your questions with blank stares, one letter text messages using the words: oh, cool, or nice, or nothing at all until you have to try to change the subject.
Ron: so do you have any brothers or sister?
Emily: Yes
~4 minute delay~
Ron: Are you the oldest?
Emily: No
~2 minute delay~
Ron: So how was your day?
~2 minute delay~
Emily: Ok
Ron: Are you conversation walling me on purpose?
Emily: What?
Ron: I think I'd have a better conversation with a brick wall.
